Elmer Beene Jr. began in Chevrolet sales in 1952 with the Ferguson Group of dealerships.  In 1960, Beene, along with the Ferguson Brothers, purchased Wade Motor Co. in Mexia and began the many years of sales excellence here. 

In 1982, Beene acquired the Ferguson interest and changed the name to Beene Motor Sales.  In 1988, Brett Beene joined the dealership team becoming the Dealer Principle in 2000.  Brett has continued the tradition begun by his Father of offering the best customer sales and service experience in the area!
